Dr. Reham Ashraf Fahmy

Hello, my name is Dr. Reham . I am a consultant psychiatrist and academic researcher in the field of neuroscience. Besides being well trained in diagnosis and treatment of all DSM-related diagnoses both pharmacologically and psychotherapeutically. I have a specialized focus in the treatment of behavioral addictions e.g. sex, porn and love addiction, internet gaming addiction as well as problematic cell phone use, problematic shopping and others. I have my training in psychodynamic and systemic Family therapy techniques and I am passionate about working with all age groups.

But Above all I am passionate about "balance".

I appreciate Balancing between symptom alleviation and growth orientation, also the balance between the use of medication and non medical treatment strategies, all the while respecting the client's personal and cultural values and readiness to change or pace in healing.

I believe that healing comes in valuing boundaries with compassion and that while survival might be individual but growth is collective.
